The Deep Resilience Program

Writer: Michael KearneyMichael Kearney

This new, special event that I am offering with the non-profit Mindful Heart Programs begins on March 12, 2025, at 7 pm PST and continues each Wednesday at that time.

Given the turbulent and chaotic times we're living in, we need more than basic self-care. Many of us practice “self-care 1.0,” meaning doing what we can to reduce stress in the moment while restoring our energy when we are outside the stressful situation. Self-care 1.0 is invaluable and essential, but it's simply not enough given the tsunami of suffering so many of us are experiencing. We need “self-care 2.0” - we need deep resilience

What do we mean by self-care 2.0 - deep resilience? Here's an image of what this looks like:

Basic self-care (self-care 1.0) is about tending to the welfare of the trees and the forest on the surface. Self-care 2.0 includes self-care 1.0 but goes deeper. It is about tending to the roots while tapping in even deeper to the wholeness and wellness that is our deepest nature. In this session, we will introduce a 7-step Program that helps us to do just that. In each of the ongoing sessions, we will explore these steps and teach related meditation and nature connection practices. Each participant in the ongoing program will be encouraged to establish (or continue) their own nature connection “sit spot” and non-dual meditation practice. We will discuss ways to customize deep resilience practices to meet personal needs. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and receive supportive feedback.

There is no charge for this program, but donations to Mindful Heart Programs are greatly appreciated: https://www.mindfulheartprograms.org/donate
